We are excited to announce that our new cataract surgical center, Apex Surgical, is now open! With the approval from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, we are now able to provide MCP covered cataract surgery at our new location. This will greatly benefit the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador by reducing wait times and improving access to care at a state-of-the-art facility. Apex Surgical has been built to hospital grade standards and is working closely with Accreditation Canada. We are confident we will be able to reduce wait times significantly in the coming months while providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
We are now accepting referrals for cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange at Apex Eye Institute. Please fax all referrals to 709-639-3939. The Apex Surgical Team looks forward to working together to improve eye health in Newfoundland and Labrador.
